Vudoo Help Cure What Ails Bombers

It had been a tough few games for the storied franchise. A 6-2 drubbing at the hands of the Admirals and a 3-2 loss to the Storm in a game they should have won. What the Bombers needed was a little boost of confidence to get them back on their game. And the Vudoo who are having a tough season in the B3 division, helped the Bombers get back on track.

"They're a good group over there but the down a few key guys. We really jumped on them early." said Bomber cap Bill Auld. They did indeed jump on the Vudoo straight out of the gate scoring 2 goals in the first 1:10 of the game. Bomber Defensemen Brian Kostrowski had yet to even get out of the locker room by the time his teammates built up the 2 goal lead. "I thought the scoreboard was showing the score from the last game." said Kostrowski.

All in all the Bombers put an 8 spot on the Vudoo, allowing only 3 goals against. Jean Eric Hoyer' scored 4 goals to go along with 3 assists and Bill Auld had a hattrick and 3 helpers. Mark Poltorak extended his goal scoring streak to 4 games with a goal in 1st period.

Next up a game versus the Smoke . . . or is it the Storm . . . never quite sure.
