Bombers Have No Luck with Shamrock "A team"

The Bombers had a second straight tough game to start the season against a Shamrock squad that was much improved from last year. The Shamrocks signed 3 free agents from the Italian National 5' and under select team in the off season and their presence was felt immediately.

The Shamrocks "Hair Line" scored 6 of their 10 goals and left the Bombers frustrated and on edge. Mike Rosenberg did mangage to score the first 2 goals of the Bomber's Winter '08 season in the loss.

Control and defensive discipline will have to be the order of the day when the Bombers look to avenge this difficult loss when the two clubs square off again on March 19th.

Bomber GM Re-signs his "Top Priority"- Rich Moss

"It was my top priority in the off season" said Bomber GM Bill Auld. "We need #6 back! The Kid line needs #6 back! Our fan base needs #6 back!" referring to Moss's on ice presence as well as the great comraderie Moss provides in the room. His large fan appeal doesn't hurt either as the #6 jersey was tied for the top seller for the Bomber Hockey Club in 2007.

Auld revealed that he enlisted other, " . . high profile players such as Tony D get in contact with Rich to persuade him that his temporary hiatus should be over."

Apparently it worked and the Winter 2008 Bomber roster will have hard working Rich Moss back in the fold and that may be just what the squad needs to bring back a championship.

"I'm just glad to be back!" said an elated Moss.
