Bombers Sink Admirals

"What a game!" noted Bomber foward Tony D'anna who scored two goals in his long awaited return to the lineup-a 5-4 Bomber victory over the Admirals. D'anna scored his team's first goal along with a game tieing salvo in the third period. "It felt great to get back." added D'flanna.

Sniper Slava" Neil "Vanderchuk" Van der horn also scored two goals in the Bomber triumph. One off a netmouth scramble and the second on a Rod Gilbertesque shot from the top of the circle. "I think we had most of the play after they scored on our first two miscues in the first." said Van der horn.

The Admirals were able to go ahead on a penalty shot goal in the third prior to D'anna evening the score. A bad slashing penalty by Adam the Admiral in late in the third was all the Bombers needed as Bill scored the game winner with 2:10 remaining.

The story of the night though was the play of Bomber defensemen John Zimnoch (43 minutes icetime) and Brian Kostrowski (41 minutes of icetime). "Those guys were solid." noted goaltender Josh Burke.

So the three game losing streak is over and the Bombers await the Shamrocks on Thursday Dec 2 at 9:50pm.
