Bombers Step into a Different World

The Bomber world of C-league hockey had been an uphill battle of late. The Twin Oaks C-League competition was nothing short of stiff and wins were hard to find.

But the Bombers walked into a different world last Tuesday when they faced off against the Moose in their first league play at BSA in more than 13years. Apparently all C-leagues are not equal as the Moose were over matched against the "storied franchise" in what is their innagural season.

The Bombers afforded the Moose the respect that had not been offered them in recent Twin Oaks mismatches. After scoring 5 quick first period goals the Bombers called of the dogs and won the contest 7-1. Highlighting the Moose performance was a late third period goal by the their dimminutive female sniper.

The Bombers better not rest on their laurals because the next foe may not be as green. Next up for the Bombers- July 1st 8:00 v the Predators.
