Bombers Get Sixy with Puck Pimps

The Bombers fought off an initial wave of strong opposition and defeated the Puck Pimps 6-0 on Monday evening.

The win was the Bombers 7th on the season in 8 games. The only loss coming on a shootout. The Bombers put on an even attack scoring 2 goals in each period from 5 different players. Defense and strong goaltending allowed the game to be dominated by the storied franchise.

Mike Rosenberg scored his 6th and 7th goals of the season and assisted on another. The Gilberts, Junior and Senior both added goals to help their team to victory. Jean Eric Hoyer and Tony D'anna provided the remaing tallies.

Rober' Auld, with no penalties yet on the season was asked to leave the Hotel de Lady Byng after receiving 14 minutes in penalties in the final 7 1/2 minutes of the game. But he did provide two assists earlier in the game to help the Bombers get on their offensive role.

Josh Burke got his second shutout of the season (even tho he thinks its his third)after successfully shutting down each and every Puck Pimp player.

Next up a make up game with the Spartans on Wed Sept 1 @ 8pm
