The Devil Alumni Game is On!

In a continuing attempt expand the Bomber Hockey name and to provide our fan base and personnel with the entertainment value they are accustomed to, Bomber management is happy to announce that we will in fact be participating in the 4th annual Charity Hockey Classic versus the NJ Devil Alumni Association!

The game, which for some time was rumored to be taking a one year hiatus, is scheduled for March 15th 2009 at the birth place of the Bombers-the Bridgewater Sports Arena. The NJ Devil Alumni Association prefers to spread out their games to various organizations and the fact we had three games already was somewhat unusual for them. But in the end they were so impressed with the effort we put forth in the past that Bruce Driver called when creating his schedule of games and asked if we would still be willing to host an event. We said yes.

And we have a new charity sponsor, the Raritan Valley Habitat for Humanity. They are a great organization and are about to undertake a 9 home development in Bridgewater, so the proceeds will be going to good use. They should be able to provide us with better name recognition while providing a high level of support to the event. They are very excited and asked me to express their thanks to the team.
