Unfortunately this post brings some sad news. Tom Black has informed me that his brother Jimmy passed away on Tuesday.
For those of you who played with Jim on the Bombers you may remember he was a fun loving, comical presence in the locker room who always seemed to enjoy his time on the ice with us. Jim was an original member of the Fun Line. As a matter of fact, the "Fun Line" name was coined when, after changing up the lines during a game, an exuberant Jimmy commented "man this is a fun line!" The name stuck and we still use it to this day. So a little bit of Bomber history can be attributed to our friend Jimmy.
I am sure I can speak for the club when I say our heartfelt condolences go out to Tom and his family.
