Bomber Streak Ends at Five
The winning streak that the Bombers were on was halted at 5 by an Admiral team set on avenging an early season 8-3 thrashing by the storied club. With the ice melting and the scoreboard "sticking" the Bombers allowed the final 4 goals of the penalty filled contest by a 7-5 score.
Rober' Auld, John Zimnoch and Jean Eric Hoyer each had two points on the evening, helping the Bombers build a 5-3 early third period lead. But penalties hurt the "Organization" and two 3rd period l power play goals pushed the Admirals to the victory.
Next up for the Bombers-two games in two nights on July 6 and 7th vs the Red Dogs and Spartans.
