It took two Auld's to equal one Rosenberg, but the pair of Rober' and Bill Auld matched Mike Rosenberg's six goal performance from last week. Rober' scored by finishing a great play from Brian Kostrowski and by acting as a pinball deflector for a Adam Lapinski point shot. Bill Auld's goals were the result of fine passing from the defense and his FUNLINE mates D'anna & Van der horn. "We really worked well together on the offensive end tonight." noted B. Auld.
The defensive side of the ice was another story for the Bombers. Perhaps leaning on the offensive successes, the Bomber team defense allowed 6 goals against. "We need to tighten that up for the future." said Mike Gilbert Sr.
So the Bombers start the season 4-0 with the top teams in the league still on the schedule.
